There are many ways you can market and distribute the CompassRx card – especially considering it is free to the consumer!

Doctor offices are a great place to begin your marketing. You can order copies to be printed from places such as Vistaprint or your local printing company. Buy some plastic card stands and you can put them in as many doctor offices as possible. Patients in the waiting rooms will see the cards available for free and take one to use as often as they need it. You get paid per script filled.

Alternatively, you can print a page with a QR code and get it laminated, then put that on the walls of doctor office waiting rooms. The QR code will bring the consumer to a landing page with your unique CompassRx card, and they can save it to their phone or computer.

Pet stores are also a great place to distribute your CompassRx card. Along with your normal card, you get a pet CompassRx card as well to fill animal medications. Your local mom-pop pet stores would be where I would start to leave cards and/or QR code at, preferably by the checkout registers. Many people have dogs that take medications and until now they have not had solutions on prescription coverage.

Pairing with Health Insurance

Pharmacist helping out seniorMost if not all our customers have health insurance with us whether it be ACA, STM, or a fixed-indemnity plan like National General Access.

If they have a highly subsidized ACA plan, then most likely they have Rx copays included. For your other customers who have bronze ACA plans with high deductibles and no Rx copays – CompassRx is a fantastic addition at no extra cost to the consumer.

Short term medical plans do not include Rx coverage unless you go with the National General Copay Enhanced PPO, in which case you only get a generic copay. For most of our NatGen STM customers, they should be getting a copy of your CompassRx card alongside their STM plan. This also should be done with every National General Access customer.
